Are you passionate about sports? Coaching, playing, watching? The ReadySetGo Conference has been helping people discover new ways to share the gospel and disciple in the relationships sports builds. When we take the time to step away from our everyday occupations, God renews our minds, enlivens our imaginations and shows us how to use what we already know to fulfill the great commission. We at NCCC want to train you to enter into His work with your passion.

Spring Level I – April 6th – 8th

Fall Level I – Oct 31st – Nov 4th

Integrating Faith & Sport

When God redeems us, our attitudes increasingly improve. Sport changes them steadily as well. When we integrate our faith and sport the results can be incredible, but when we don’t it can be disastrous. We are taking an evening to hear from experts in sport. We will do this “TEDtalk” style with an Indianapolis Colt, a professor in sports psychology, a couple of Olympians and a big mountain snowboarder. No matter what your involvement in sport, as a participant (an athlete or coach) or a facilitator (Ref, Athletic Director, parent), come join the conversation on taking our experiences higher in and through our sport.

April 21st 7:00pm – 9:00pm / Family Center

If you want to truly know a person, play a game with them. In one game you see bravery, fear, graciousness and bullying. In one season thrilling triumphs and humbling defeats are experienced. Sports reveals character and can be a vehicle to build character. WLS is a locker room of training and inspiration. Whether in a catalytic event–like KidsGames, the Bridge Conference–or in on going discipleship to athletes, coaches and parents of athletes, WLS works to equip people to become whole persons on the playing field of life.

We work as teams in and through sport to equip and train coaches and athletes to be the image of Christ in sport, to reach the unchurched through summer sports camps, to train youth to be leaders now and to partner across the world with sports ministry trips to “go and make disciples.”
