"During the church service I experienced a medical emergency that appeared to be a loss of consciousness.  There was nothing to indicate this was about to happen, until a moment or two before.  There were off duty emergency people in the congregation at the time and they took over.  The paramedics arrived to relieve them.  During this time, several people were praying earnestly.  I was transported to the hospital.  I do not have a prior history of heart issues.  It appeared that my blood pressure dropped to below 50.  The ER staff took over at the hospital.  My son and two friends from church arrived about the time I did.  The following day after another episode the cardiologist decided there would be need for an Angioplasty.  The result  was that all arteries were clear.  Praise the Lord!  The next day I was to have an Electrophsiology, with the intent to place a pace maker or a defibrillator.  During the procedure I was conscious and able to see all that was going on.  My heart was put through the paces.  The result was no need for assistance.  Again praise the Lord.  I then turned my head and asked, "Does it appear my heart was healed?".  The answer was "It would appear so."  After five days in the hospital I was released.  So what caused all this?  I had been given an antibiotic the week before for a urinary infection.  It appears that the medication, along with what I normally take for blood pressure did not mix well.  And even then the doctors are not sure.  But our Lord is my strength.  All praise to the Lord Jesus!  Our God heard the prayers of His people and answered from heaven.  God is faithful to answer His children and by His stripes we are healed."

“Our son was addicted to Methamphetamine for over 6 years. Our family was so terrified at his erratic behavior. He would either be missing for days or he became so violent that we thought he might hurt us. We feared that he would overdose, be put in jail, or even kill us or someone else. We went to the prayer tent one day after church and someone told us to pray Ephesians 3:14-19 daily and to replace the word "you" with our son's name. We did that every day for a couple of weeks. One day, our son was playing music loudly and the neighbors called the police because it was annoying. He was arrested on outstanding warrants. While he was in jail that week, he read the Bible and prayed quietly in his cell because he was so afraid of the other inmates. When he was released from jail, he said he was ready to start a new drug free life. Not only did he become sober, so did all his friends that he used to do drugs with. Christ heals!"

“A couple of years ago, I was devastated. I had received confirmation that my beloved husband had been cheating on me.  Before I found out about my husband's infidelity I already knew our relationship was a struggle and had been praying with believers, reading Christian books, etc. Although my husband received Christ before we were married and we started our lives together as believers going to church, home fellowship, and had prayer time together, later on things changed. My husband developed a new age approach to faith in which he believed that God works how you choose to believe, whether it is Buddhist, Muslim, Islam, whatever your preference is. He no longer wanted to go to church with me and did not wish to have our daughter dedicated. I became very depressed. I felt as if my best friend had died and I was living with a ghost. Eventually I got over the disappointment of not having a Christian husband that I had prayed for in youth, waited for and saved myself for.  We agreed to disagree when it came to our faith. I was aware that my husband believed in a philosophical approach concerning marriage. He believed that the sanctity of marriage is an institution that is helpful for some couples, but relationships (sexual) can develop other ways outside of marriage. When I found out about his infidelity, I did not have the energy to judge. I was so hurt I could barely stand to be alive in my own pain. A counselor from church recommended I go to the NCCC prayer ministry to ask for prayer. Before my prayer request was disclosed to the prayer group, they first prayed for me to receive insight from the Holy Spirit about my issue.  They believed I might be in a terrible storm so they guided me to some verses and prayed for me. I became brave. My husband eventually ended the affair and chose a monogamous marriage. My husband decided to put his faith and trust in God.  It has been a few years since then, along with a lot of work, pain, prayer and time to heal.  We are now a Christian family that loves the Lord and each other. We go to church together.  I do believe that even if my husband divorced me, my daughter and I would be safe, happy, and thrive because of the help I received from the Lord through resources such as the prayer ministry. He is a Wonderful Counselor, Master Physician, Prince of Peace, and Mighty God. Thank you Jesus for the prayer ministry, and the strength, power and authority you give us in the Holy Spirit."
