ABOUT OUR TRIPS

At NCCC we send teams to some of our GLOBAL PARTNERS to serve alongside them in the field. We have relationships with amazing ministries who are living out the heart of God through sports ministry, widow and orphan programs, evangelical and medical outreaches and village transformation projects. Please check our GLOBAL PARTNER page to find out more about our partners.

Jordan: Refugee Care

Dates: In February for 2 weeks – Probably FEB 12-25 give or take a few days
Cost: Approximately $3,000 per person
This will be a trip to Mafraq on the NW corner of Jordan. It is a city that is close to the Syrian, Israeli and Iraqi borders. The large refugee camp called Al Zaatari is close by, so the refugee population in the city is swelling as the refugees leave the camp. Our Partner has a Community Center in their church building where they teach various practical classes. We would offer instruction through translators to benefit the community and build relationship with the local church. In addition there would be opportunities to go on Home Visits to pray with refugee families, to spend some time at the church-run school and fill other spots for volunteers as they arise. MAX on trip is 8 people.
PURPOSE: Teach Practical Courses to local Jordanians and the Refugees from Iraq and Syria. Love people.
SKILLS NEEDED: Practical skills in teaching in one of these areas: English Language, Beginning Computer, Photography, Sewing or Woodworking. Arabic Language is a big help, but not necessary.
NEXT STEPS: 1. If you have not taken our Cultural Training course, please plan to join one on 10/21 or 12/9. (This is a great course even if you do not make this trip!)
Contact: Lisa King for more information. Applications are due by September 30th

Syrian Refugee Medical Outreach

Dates:  April 5 – 15, 2018
Cost: TBD
North Coast Calvary Chapel is partnering with Medical Servants International (MSI) to bring a much needed short-term medical clinic to the Syrian refugees in Lebanon and/or Jordan.  As medical professionals in our church, we have the great opportunity to use our skills to bring general medical/dental care to those in great need and to demonstrate loving compassion in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.  MSI has extensive experience in carrying out short term medical missions around the world.  Our trusted partners in Lebanon and Jordan have been faithfully serving refugees since the mass migration began.  Would you consider joining your fellow medical providers from our church and give yourself away in the name of Jesus?  Healthcare providers (medical, dental and other specialties) are especially needed, but non-medical caring volunteers are also always needed for health education and patient caring. Please let us know of your interest as well as to receive future updates for this trip by emailing Annie Snowbarger.
