My passion for working with children is something I’ve carried with me throughout my life since childhood. When asked what I wanted to be when I grew up I’d always say “a teacher”. To see it come to fruition is truly a dream come true.
I was born in San Diego, raised in Hemet (I.E.), but have been settled in Vista since 2016. I am the youngest of two, my brother is four years older than me. I attended college at CSUSM, double majoring and receiving a bachelors in child development and another in sociology. I have minors in psychology and liberal arts.
Some of my experience working with children includes teaching Sunday school growing up, volunteering over hundreds of hours at a women and children’s shelter and overseeing the children’s after school program, and I was a preschool teacher for 3 years pre and during Covid.
Life has a way of reminding us what our purpose in life is, and God is constantly bringing me back to him and reminding me through a child’s smile that my purpose in life is to help guide children on the path of self-love, independence, and to be the best versions of themselves that they can be.
Some of my hobbies include but are not limited to street fairs, beach trips (that saltwater air is so healing), trying new foods, painting, babysitting (I love being a part of their lives at such a young age), and going on nature walks with no technology and just existing.
Working with children is so fulfilling and is a constant reminder that despite all the bad there is in the world there are so many beautiful little reasons to always keep going. Thank you for trusting me with your children, and I look forward to forming unbreakable bonds and memories that will no doubt last me a lifetime.
