Hi, my name is Katie Sharp! I recently had the privilege of coming back on staff at Coast Kids Preschool two years ago. I worked at Coast Kids Preschool for four years as a Pre-k Teacher before moving to Pennsylvania for three years to help plant a church as a Children’s Ministry Director.

While in Pennsylvania I also worked as the Director of a nonprofit community center for at-risk youth and children and worked for Child Protective Services as a case manager. While in PA I met my husband Devin whom I have had the blessing of being married to for three years now. We made the move back out to California in June of 2021. I am so

excited to be back working with an amazing school and to be back in that California sunshine!

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development from San Diego Christian College and continuing education in Child Development/Child Welfare specializations from The University of Pittsburg School of Social Work. I have had the blessing of working with children of all different ages in a school, ministry, and volunteer setting for over 14 years.

I am excited to see what God has in store for this year and I am looking forward to meeting each one of your children and partnering with you in developing the “whole” child as they learn and grow!

God has a will and purpose for your child today, so while we focus on preparing them for their future we also focus and rejoice in the present with them each day! One of my prayers for this year for your child and their relationship with Jesus is that they will understand God’s love for them ( Ephesians 3:8) and that they will love God and love others ( Matthew 22:36-40).
